I charge a minimum of £1200 Inc VAT .

This is due to the fact that you get surcharged for concrete and no matter how big the job is most of the day is gone.

Regards Mark

yeah is my first job worked it out got my own mats. its costing me £200 for colour hardners sealer etc ton of type 1 £35 whacker plate hire £30 and the concrete is costing £170 so that works out £435 will only need 1 man for 2 days £30 per day so thats say £500 take out my diesel still making a little bit of profit plus experiance which in my eyes i want more than the money :)

I charge around 65 a sq metre, so you in same ball park as me.

The small part load is a pain, (1.4m3 is approx all you will need at 100mm thickness of concrete)

Ask your supplier have they got a mini mixer vehicle, atleast that way it will minimise your part load charge.

Its a nice little job, if you are new at the game, so if thats you, it's perfect I would say. Good luck and take some photos.

That works out at £57/m2 which is a bit low, concrete will cost £200 with part load charge + colour and mats at about £100 + dig out, formwork, stone and labour for pour day. You have four visits to the job 1 dig and stone, 2 pour, 3 wash, 4 seal. Most contractors have a minimum charge say £1250- £2000 to cover costs.

Jim
