We are getting ready to turn a mother -in-law apartment into a master suit. The entire area is ceramic tile (approximately 580 sq ft) over cement sub-floor. Because we are repositioning walls etc. The tile needs to come up.
I've seen some very nice acid stain concrete that I'd be happy with. Is it feasible to remove the ceramic tile good enough to then stain the concrete?
:D

Hi Joedee

I am new to decorative concrete as well and I would be interested to find out if there is a UK supplier of Radonseal products.

Regards

Sorry ALDHELM2. My message was meant for Franksbutterfly driveways.

I'm not sure how to use this message service properly. I will try another

method.

Having seen your pics of jobs you clearly know what you are doing, and your work looks fantastic

Im new to decorative concrete and am heavily exploring the products available. A claim by radonseal.com states that they're concrete colour sealer is considerably better, much more durable, can be used in external applications without sealer and is a lot cheaper than Acid staining. Apparently it gives a very similar finish, has 37 colours, costs 30% less and requires no maintenance...

Do you have any experience of this product.?

If it's that good why is'nt everyone using it?

I would like other  opinions on this product rather than just they're own website blurb. Hope you can help in a constructive way!!

Thanks in advance

Joe

Thanks for you help. I would be grateful for further advice (contact details) about PICS as I have been unable to find anyone in the uk who will supply in quantities of 1 litre.

PICS and all suppliers should be able to get you these stains in 1 litre bottles from about £10.00

Cheers
