You may be good at concreting but you seriously need some help with your business plan.
Yeah i agree, not actually sure why i asked that. Me and my partner are just starting out (its him who is the concrete expert) I ment to say, do we use carbon paper as we are really trying to keep our costs down, as this paper seems to be very expencive. Is there any cost effective ways of doing this.
We have done a few jobs now (with very happy customers) and it is all going very quickly and i just want to get all the paper work right the first time round.
Thankyou for your reply. We the thing we are stuck with is the paper work side. When we quote customers do we need to keep a copy of the quote, and does that mean we need the use carbon paper.
Also the customers will be paying in three stages so do we therefore need to invoice them first or give them the invoice after the job has been completed? And do we need to provide them with anything for each payment they make.
Its mostly this side we are struggling with as we want to look professional but stay cost effective. We cant really afford to spend much on paperwork.
So any advice about the paper work process would be brillient.
Wanted some consulltation advice really, i will have a look to see if they just do promotion advice. Just needed ideas for the quote and how to present the work to customers.
Me and my partner are in the process of starting up our own business. My partner had over 15 years experience laying patterns concrete so he is completly capable of that side of it. I have designed the business leaflets and card and i am building the website.
We dont currently have the tools and equipment and are looking to hire most of this to start with.
We have had a request for a quote and that is as far as we have got.
Any advice would be truely appreciated on where to go next and about the paperwork side of the business. And any information on how to go about the consultation with the customer.
