We have recently started and all of our work is from the local paper and leafleting. every time we have leafleted we have got one or two quotes from this. which i dont think it to bad. we advertise in the local paper every other week which costs about 80 each advert. had quite alot of work from that. dont stretch your area to big. keep advertising in the same places becuase people will start to recognise you.
there is only 2 more people in there doing it that have a good advert but i know they are charging alot more than me and 1 other in there with small advert so should be worth it jus need more leads started in june this year done 4 jobs with aid from website and free listing
do you find that leaflets are good just boring getting them out dont trust others doing it
No one can ever determine how much work you are going to get from a single piece of advertisment. it will depend on how good your advert is against all of the others and also how many people pick up the phone and ring Your number...
What I would say from my experience you should always get enough work from it to cover the cost no matter what...
A £500 advert I would consider paid for after getting 1 job from it..
If I didnt get a yellow pages ad to pay for itself I would get a job as a taxi driver LOL
i am thinking of advertising in yellow pages does anyone else advertise in there already have a free listing but going to upgrade how much work would this bring in the ad is £500 for the year
