We hope to get a chance to meet many of you over the next couple of months at our various training events. Our sealant and decorative floor workshops seem to be very popular. We had three additional registrants last week and have had numerous requests for additional dates.
The purpose behind hosting these events during the summer months was to give participants the opportunity, tools and a bit of experience with floor applications that can be used inside come the winter months. Our goal is to help attendees establish a niche for interior decorative concrete, as well as help them increase their exterior business by introducing new products and techniques.
We have received a lot of interest for training in vertical stamping and so are adding a day to our July training schedule. Marshall Hoskins will train participants on the use of our Fossil Crete product and various vertical stamp techniques for one day. All Floor Workshop participants can attend this fifth day for free. The one day floor cost for all others is £180.

DECORATIVE FLOORING WORKSHOP
4 days: 7-10 July 2008
Learn Decorative Concrete installation techniques at our Decorative Concrete Workshop. This four day instructional course will give you real “hands on” training for stamped concrete, staining using latest water based stain technology, thin set overlays for interior and exterior use, stamp overlays, concrete scoring/engraving and stencilling. Each system is demonstrated on a simulated job-site setting to give students the chance to personally use each product. Class sizes are kept small to enhance the quality of instruction.
Senior Technical Representative Marshall Hoskins is your course instructor and has taught thousands of contractors installation techniques for Decorative Concrete. He is an ACI Certified Flatwork Technician and frequently teaches at ASCC/DCC industry events. Mr Hoskins has over 12 years of construction and Decorative Concrete experience.

Aimed at giving installers the knowledge to choose the correct sealer for any job.
Hands on training with various systems made by top manufacturers. Topics covered to include slip resistancy, proper applications for porous concrete, and integrally pigmented sealers for a one stop design and function application.

This will be a hands-on workshop. All students will be encouraged to bring their best ideas and get their hands dirty. Students will design, template, build forms, create mixes and pour, cast, cure, seal and finish a professional-grade concrete worktop to take home.
